Pass the Safe Neighborhood Streets bill and send it to the Governor this spring
The Safe Neighborhood Streets bill (SB 221 / HB 3877), will change the prima facie speed limit on residential streets in the four largest cities in Texas. All these cities want the prima facie speed limit in their cities to be 25mph and have endorsed the bill. As each next largest city endorses the bill, they could be added to the bill up until the time it is passed.
